Plate exchangers are built in stainless steel, which allows direct contact with the product, can be supplied with welded plates (closed) or plates with (open) gaskets that facilitate the maintenance and expansion of their capacity.
Shell tube heat exchangers are generally used for industrial fluids cooling such as process water, hydraulic oils, and gas condensation, among others. They are constructed mainly in carbon steel.

Plate heat exchangers are highly efficient because they have large heat transfer surfaces and turbulent flow. They can operate with different fluids including glycol to prevent freezing. The construction sizes are small and can be easily located in the process plant.
Open plate heat exchangers are superior to those of welded plate and shell tube heat exchangers, since it is possible to install or add more plates, thus increasing the cooling capacity.
